The little differences

A BBC story today illustrates one of the many differences that exist between Europe and America, despite their common roots.

The most infamous idiot in France, Jean-Marie Le Pen, said:

"In France at least, the German occupation was not especially inhumane, even if there were a number of excesses - inevitable in a country of 550,000 sq km."
That's plain stupid. However, here in America, it's not a crime to say something stupid.

In Europe, it apparently is.
