"Does Dan Rather work for al-Jazeera?"

Neil Prakash catches al Jazeera lying. Yeah, I know. Contain your shock.

Blogger threatened

Winds of Change reports that a Tulsa newspaper has sent a threatening letter to a Tulsa blogger. They allege that he has infringed upon the newspaper's copyright, by, among other things, linking to their website. Get that? Driving traffic to a newspaper's website is copyright infringement.

Great open letter to the Tulsa World from Wizbang here. All I can say is "What he said."

And what Michelle Malkin did. She hit his tipjar, and it might not be a bad idea. The Tulsa World might have deep pockets, but a community of small pockets can beat them.

I just wonder if the Tulsa World has any idea what kind of pile-on it has brought upon itself.

Lobsters feel no pain

So say the results of a recently released Norwegian study.

Now, lobsters are a big deal here in Maine. I mean, fill in the blank here: Live ____ Lobsters. Unless you're Canadian and get yours from Nova Scotia, you probably thought "Maine." I have even seen signs outside restaurants in Paris advertising "Homards du Maine."

So when some people protest the use of lobsters as food, a few Mainers might see it as a minor annoyance, but most just roll their eyes and snort.

I wonder what PETA will think of this study. If the lobsters aren't suffering pain, then they'll have to come up with a new argument.

Besides, don't they realize that lobster meat is really tasty? I mean, come on!
